The virtous guitarist Adrian Smith has a solo carreer that oddly enough some people don’t know about. As well as being a great guitarist Adrian also songwrites, sings and plays the bass. His solo career began before he joined Iron Maiden with the band Stone Free; rigth after, changed for Evil Ways and then Urchin. In 1980 he was in the band Broadways Brats and in the same year he joined Iron Maiden. Since 1990, after his departure, he ventured into his solo career until his return to the band, in 1999. Later, he released solos albums in 2012 and 2021. As some people don’t know his solo caree,r here is a marvellous list for you to get to know it. I'll try not to mention the songs that have become singles so you can get to know other songs.

Urchin doesn’t have an “oficial album”; High Records released, between 2004 and 2012, Urchin albums. The band has a hard rock, blues style, likeThin Lizzy and Free, the later one of Adrian’s favourite band. Just as in our next indication, Adrian is also the lead singer of the band, but there was a period that Dave Hall was lead singer; after his departure Adrian assumed the role of lead singer.

If you expect to listen to Heavy Metal, so sorry mate, A.S.A.P is very hard rock, AOR; in other words it’s very different from what he did in Iron Maiden. This is one of the most praised project between guitarist’s fans. Adrian sings all songs and I guess that’s why it is so loved between the fans.

The Untouchables – Judgement Day

The band doesn’t have an album, but you can find some songs in live versions on youtube between the years 1992 and 1993. This is one of the projects that H’s fans would like to see more songs, because yes, there is more material, but Adrian doesn't have it available.

Psycho Motel is a very grunge style that was on the rise at the time. In the firt album Solli was lead singer, but in the second Andy assumes as lead singer after Solli left.

The heaviest Smith solo album and no, it has nothing to do with Iron Maiden, at first you might be surprised because of Mikee’s vocals, but the album is good for those who like very heavy rock, of course they’ll like the álbum. Adrian does backing vocal in some songs and play the bass in all songs.
